Preventing appendicitis?

I know that appendicitis is not totally preventable, but will eating a diet with fiber help prevent it?

I've never heard of any way to prevent it. It's not something you should stress over. I had mine removed when I was 15, it's probably the most physically painful thing I have experienced, but it honestly wasn't that bad. It doesn't really effect that many people. Don't stress, there are way worse things out there that you can get.
