Question:

Price of iPods, Thanksgiving '07?

I would like to purchase a silver 80gb iPod classic and a 4gb iPod nano (also silver), but was wondering if anyone could tell me about how much these were (on sale) last holiday season, around Thanksgiving '07? Did these items go down in price any, or did the Apple products keep their prices steady? Any predictions on whether the prices will sway any over Thanksgiving this year?

  1. Apple has only ever drastically cut prices on their iPods if they're refurbushed, or outdated because newer iPods have been released.

They usually update their iPod line in late September each year, so look on the Apple website for updates and in stores for price drops around that time.

You can also look for refurbished iPods (ones customers have sent in for repairs, and they replaced instead).  They work and look just like the new ones do, and even come with the same warranty as the new ones (90 days).  You can check out some of such store on their website, although some stores carry them too.

  2. iPods don't go on sale sorry.  You could try apple reseller websites like macmall.
