i'm 14 years old im looking forward to mow lawns with a lawn mower machine. I have a question, after you mow the lawn with a lawn mower do you have to rake it all up and put it in a bag? Or can you just leave it on the ground?. And how much would it cost? Its just a small lawn about a regular sized laawn in winnipeg

  1. You will need a mower that mulches the grass clippings. You can get between $15.00 to $20.00 per lawn and do them every week.Try to cut them on Thursday or Friday so they look good for the weekend.

  2. 20 dollars is a fair price.  You should always mulch clippings, never rake them unless you are trying to rid a yard of fungus.  The clippings contain nitrogen and will help green up the yard.

  3. if you have a mulcher on the mower you don't need the attached bag,or have the lawn blow out the side of mower,or have a seperate bag to put clippings in....the clippings just get into the lawn and actually help it a little bit...I think you could probably get $20-$25 maybe more per mowing...I mean heck you have ticks to think about too that could get on you just from mowing the lawn(don't forget to frequently check yourself)so yeah I'd say at least that much should be charged....mowing can be okay but it's definitely work...good luck

  4. depending on the size of lawn...if your lawnmower doesnt bag as it mows then unless the owner requests you bag the clippings i would leave it on the ground...and if your only mowing then $10 for frontyard....if you mow, weedeat, edge, and blow the clippings then $25....if they want you to bag the clippings then add another $10 to your price...if it seems high gas is not getting cheaper....so it should balance out some....

and thank you for not being a lazy video game kid...
