Price to go to Australia?

Me and my girlfriend want to go to Australia next summer for about 20 days or so. We live in Phoenix, AZ. How much would it cost us for place tickets? it doesnt have to be first class or anything, i just need an estimate.

They bottom out around 1500$ or so. Very pricey.

This summer (which is the Australian winter) the lowest priced tickets were running about $1000 per person from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Sydney.  From a gateway such as Phoenix about $1200 would be closer to the ballpark.  There's no way of saying this far in advance what next summer will bring though.

Airfares are generally published no more than 330 days prior to the date of the flight, so in a month or two you can take a look at where airfares are.  The good news is that summer in the US is the low season to Australia, so airfares tend to be a bit more reasonable.

for both of you round trip it would be about 5K and 3K if you go to good sites like........
