Problem! Help me please

Hello: I have a web, and I did it with joomla 1.5. I tried to install components, but I can't. I have the following error

* JFTP::mkdir: Bad response

* JFTP::store: Bad response

* Warning! Failed to move file.

I did the manual and browser instalation. I give the neccessary permissions. So, I don't know what can I do. It's very important this component. Everyone can help me? Thanks!! Please give an answer.

Check that the 'temp' directory setting in your Global config and make sure it is correct. Also check that the ftp settings are correct.
