Problem with LCD Monitor (Gateway FPD1810)

Question

I own an FPD1810 Gateway flat panel montior. Three times in the past two days the display has gone crazy displaying random colors and patterns. I am running it with an old video card (I just ordered a RADEON 9000 with a DVI port.) If I turn the monitor off for about 30 seconds and turn it back on it works well.If anyone has seen this before and has any suggestions, I would really appreciate the help.Thanks, Robert
