Question:

Problem with burton mission bindings?

I have a pair of burton mission bindings that seem to be killing the top of my foot. Im wearing a pair of hail boots that fit my feet perfectly. My problem has come everytime about the fourth run down the top of my foot just kills me. I finally figured out today that its the ankle stap on the bindings thats the problem. I put the ankle strap to the top hole because i like the support it gives me. I asked a guy in my local shop and he told me to replace the ankle strap with a contoured strap. Does burton sell contoured straps that will fit mission bindings? Does anyone have any suggestions as far as the strap or do I have to try new bindings and if so which ones? I dont care about price as long as the problem is solved. I also have my forward lean at f3.

  1. I also have Missions.  I like them a lot but I know that higher grade bindings, like cartels, have better padding on the ankle straps.  These straps are sold separately and can be found at better ski & board shops, maybe on line.  Any Burton ankle strap will fit in your bindings.  If you are in anyway handy, change them out yourself.  If not, the guy at the shop will probably do`it for free or cheep.

  2. Try Flow bindings . The are the best for most boots.

They are the only bindings that don't tire my feet out .
