I have a water-ski boat with a ford 351 v8 petrol engine in it. The engine is running at correct temprature, i know this because the gauge is working, but there is a seprate temp warning light is stuck on, therefor so is the warning buzzer, Very irritating! Any suggestions much appreciated!

  1. Either replace the temp sending unit or ground the wire going to it. Grounding the wire should shut it off, but it will shut it off for good and you will have to depend on the guage.

  2. Are you sure it is the guage that is correct and not the light.  If it is the light it may be the sensor, replace it.
