Problem with my iTunes?

about a month ago, my comptuter got a really bad virus and we had to complteley wipe out the whole thing. i lost everything on it, including all the songs on my iTunes. (we never made a back-up cd, i really regret that.) we re-downlaoded iTunes and when i plugged in my iPod, iTunes listed all the songs that couldnt be found (everything on my iPod). i really don't know what to do and im getting pretty sick of all the songs on iPod, lol. please help, 10 points for the best answer!!
