  1. Are you really asking a question of such gravity on a message board?

If I were you, I'd talk with my ob/gyn on this very special issue.  This is WAY past the parameters of a message board.  If someone answered and then said, "Trust me, I'm a doctor."  would you actually trust them?

PLEASE ... talk with YOUR doctor on this issue.

Then, if you want the answer to the math problem, "2 + 2", come to a board, but NOT about something as serious as what you've asked.

  2. Generally speaking having a tipped uterus is a relatively common thing and for the most part it usually is not a problem for *most* women when it comes to conceiving and childbirth.

Since you have already successfully conceived, that does not seem to be an issue. A miscarriage in early pregnancy is most often related to problems with the development of the embryo/fetus, and not a problem related to the position of the uterus.

So try not to make assumptions that your tipped uterus was related to your miscarriage. And one miscarriage does not put you at a higher risk for having another. Many women have at least one miscarriage in their lifetime.

But definitely talk to your doctor who knows the specifics about you and your body. They can put your mind at ease.

  3. From personal experience.... I also was told I had a retroverted uterus (tilted womb)... but 13yrs later I have been blessed with 6 kids and all natural child birth and no complications during the pregnancy...but always go to a Gynecologist and get a thorough check up...

  4. No for most women it is not a problem with pregnancy.  Sometimes a problem with birth needing a c-section, but generally no problem in itself.  It's certainly something to talk to your doctor about when you go see them next.

  5. I also found out that I have a tilted uterus when I went in for my first ultrasound. From what I understand a tilted uterus is normally not a problem. Most doctors agree that it shouldn't have an affect on fertility. During pregnancy most tilted uteri right themselves by the end of the first trimester. If you have a "stubbornly" tilted uterus, it can cause some problems but that is a very rare condition. I had to pee a lot the first trimester because of the extra pressure, but my uterus has righted itself as is not problem at 20 weeks.
