Question:

Problems with joints?

I am experiencing problems with some of my joints: when I was 19 I have twisted my left ankle and since then when I walk a lot or do some jogging it gets painful very easily. I presumed that it was an after effect of the twist, recently however my other ankle gets pailful sometimes as well.

My left wrist is also problematic: it seems to be weaker and it starts hurting when closing taps, opening jars, etc. The pain is kind of dry, as if parts of the joint were grinding against each other. I am generally in good health (enough calcium in diet etc)and don't have problems with other joints, but this is frustrating, because I feel that my muscles/heart could go on with exercise but my joints get affected too soon. Any ideas what could be wrong, and maybe what nutrients could help. Thanks. I am 26 btw.

  1. hi, it sounds as if it could be some kind of arthritis. sometimes after an injury it starts. i have been taking GLUCOSOMINE SULPHATE which helps the joints. it's a natural substance and a lot of athletes use it. you can buy it quite reasonably fro a company called ZIP VIT . they do mail order. hope it works.

  2. cod liver oil nasty but works also when you go the gym ask them for exercises that would increase the strength in wrist/ankle

  3. Buy any fish oil supplements! My father in law has been drinking pure castor oil for years and even though in his 70s he has ther problems but he is fit and without any 'joint' problems! Pure fish oil is hard to take but the capsules should work

  4. I don't really no much about the body but you might have a type of cancer so if I was you I would go to a doctor/hospital and get it checked.

  5. gloucosomine sulphate worked for me!

  6. go to a doctor, go to a doctor, go to a doctor, go to a doctor, go to a doctor, go to a doctor, go to a doctor!

  7. Hi there.

Sounds like an absence of ligament, that it has shredded or been torn.

You may need keyhole surgery, but in the meantime take Glucosamine with Chondroitin - you should notice a great improvement after 6 weeks, keeping improving thereafter. Fish oils are also good.

I take both (bad knee) and they work for me.

    Good luck, Steve.

  8. Try taking some glucosamine sulphate vitamins as they was recommended to my partner from the hospital. He suffers with joint problems.

  9. soundas like arthritis ,take cod liver oil its very good
