Recently on a vacation to Florida I bought an x-box and when I went to go play it all I could hear was the sound. I couldn't see any video. I tried to see if my dvd player works but I get the same thing. Any idea what could be going on?

  1. maybe you lust need new cords and makesure your on the right channel

  2. Unless you get HD, it's not going to look all that good. For the 360, have you tried changing the setting from SD to HD? That should make a huge difference. Don't forgot to also change it on the 360's end of the video cable. You need to change the switch from TV to HD.

For TV, you need to call your cable company and request a HD cable box so that you can watch TV in HD. You should see a huge difference. What you're watching now is 480p at best. You want 1080i.

  3. Maybe it was unplugged because when ever you get a system you have these wires that the second reason, if you have a DVR in your room and it bend turned off call the company you bought it from or rented it from 3rd reason, you have these wires you have to put in red, white, blue. maybe orange. End if you have a fat tv maybe its digital transition. Good luck if your tv does not work i recommend you buy a new one dont buy a fat one because some fat tv's will not work soon

  4. It's in the connection to the tv. The rca jacks are color coded. If the tv has a component in or input in with the green, blue, red(this is video). Red and white(this is audio). Easier Hookup Green,Blue,& Red are always video. Yellow is always video. Red and white are sound. If you have no green, blue red on the tv but have a yellow, red, white then connect the green from the xbox to the yellow. If this fails then go into the menu of the xbox and select the output.
