I've tried asking this question but I need to ask it different this time. I'm flying CX from LAX to MNL via HKG roundtrip. However, I'm not staying in Hong Kong. When do I go through Immigration and Customs? What do I need to do when I'm at Immigration and Customs? Can I fill out a separate customs form (even though I'm traveling with my parents and sister)? Do I need to recheck my baggage when I'm in Hong Kong? please help!!

  1. If you have one ticket and will be flying one airline (or more if they codeshare) your luggage will be checked all the way through to MNL.   When you disembark your plane in Hong Kong, you will probably see signs that say something like 'Passengers in Transit".    That's you.    Follow those signs and it should take you back into the terminal for your next flight.   You should not have to go through Customs and Immigration until you get to MNL.
