Program a universal remote?

i have a sanyo television and a phillips universal remote.

how can i program that

Did it come with directions? Every TV, DVD, VCR has a number that you program into it.

Should Tell You In The Owners Manual For The Phillips Remote.  You'll End Up Holding The TV Button Then Pressing Some Numbers.  If You Don't Have The Manual Anymore, You Should Be Able To Find It Online, Or Call The Phillips Hotline

Look in the paperwork that came with your remote.  There should be a section for all makes and models of the diferent equipment that the remote will work with.  If it's not clear to you, or hard to understand, call the store where you got it from or go online to the website listed on the packaging - there should be a customer service ph # and someone there to help you.  Helpful hint - once you get the codes for your equipment, write them down.  You may need to re-program the remote again if you change the batteries and you'll want those codes close at hand.  I know, it happened to me ; \  Good luck.

You need the code for your sanyo television... first in order to program the remote....

Didn't it come with instructions?  All universal remotes are slightly difference, some have codes, some just send signals to the equipment and pick it up automatically.

You need to find the model of your remote and look up the phillips official site to see if they have a manual for it if you cannot find it in your house.
