Question:

Program folder in Vista?

I have Windows Vista and there is a Programs folder when in click All Programs. I really didn't have a need for it so I deleted it. The next time I brought my computer up, it was sitting on my desktop. This when the fight started. No matter how many times I delete it, it always pops back up on my desktop. How do I get rid of it once and for all?

  1. It will not let you as long as the user account control is set. Further more if you are able to delete it in all likely hood VISTA will quit working. That is why the file attribute is set to read only. LEAVE it alone!
