Proof of insurance.?

I feel like an idiot asking this question but what do i bring to prove proof of insurance?

is it possible to send the latest copy of my health insurance bill?

or is there a specific piece of paper?

Proof of HEALTH insurance?  In the U.S., you will usually have an insurance card.

You should receive a COCC (certificate of credible coverage) letter from your previous insurance carrier. In order to prove that you have had insurance coverage the new carrier will require a COCC letter.

You should have a health insurance card.  If you do not, call your insurer & get one.  Each member of your family that is covered should have one in their own name.

You should have a declarations page  that your insurance sends you after you pay them.  That, or a insurance card, would be proof.  Also, you may be able to download proof from the website of the company.

Call your insurance co.  They will tell you exactly what to do and what you need to bring.  And they can get any of that to you at the same time in the mail.
