Hello Ladies! =-)

The doctor put me on Medroxyprogesterone daily for ten days. However, I have heard that most women that only take it for 5 days will get their period. Is this true? Could I stop this pill after five days and have a decent chance of getting a period after stopping it?

This pill gives me horrible cramps, so the shorter the better. Today would be day 5 of the pill for me. What do you think? Should I just stick it out and take it for the other five days? I am anxious to start my Clomiphene, and the sooner I get off this Medroxyprogesterone and get my period, the sooner I can start the Clomiphene.

My husband and I are ready for our baby! =-)

  1. If your doctor said you should take it for 10 days, and you don't want to, then you should discuss it first with your doctor. Only your doctor knows enough about you to know what's best.

We do not have enough medical information here about you to make any real recommendations.
