Ps3 1080i?

Question

What will happen if the game is programmed to 720p though i only checkmark the 1080i option?Will the 720p convert to 1080i?my tv is 1080i/480p so i was wondering will it automatically go to 480p or will itt convert to 1080i?

yes if the games native resolution is 720p it will upconvert it to 1080i. it just wont be true 1080i but trust me you wont be able to tell. theres actually little noticeable difference between 720p and 1080i anyway.
