Psp firmware?

how do you download and install any firmware for the psp. i have the regular 3.50 upgrade. i wanna use the uni remote please help

well you got download the firmware. then connect the psp. Then open it up and put the firmware in there. Go to settings in the psp and look for the upgrade firmware button.

the universal remote program will not run on regular official firmware. so regular upgrades will not cut it. you need to make a pandoras battery or borrow someone else's to do this. making one yourself will cost you a battery though.heres a vid on making one. i know what your thinking, all this trouble just for a stupid universal remote program?. i'm sorry to say that it's the only way, but once you've got custom firmware, you can use your psp as way more than just a remote. it's totally worth it if you look into what you can do.
