  6. Emoticons, same thing as the smiley faces but they are bigger,

    ASCII art is not those things. ASCII art is making a real picture out of ASCII characters.

  8. After some searching, I could not find anything about a name for those.  They seem like 2-byte emoticons (mostly used in Japan), but those are still entirely horizontal.  You should make up a name and add it to wikipedia.

  11. It's referred to as ASCII art, and can be as simple as emoticons, or as complex as entire images.

    If you search Google for ASCII art, you'll find a lot of examples.
