Can some one PLEASEEE help me find info on Puri!?!

It is immensly hard to find information on this small city in the state of Orissa. I need information such as the education levels, transportation, industry, and basic life in Puri.

Puri pronunciation (help·info) is a city in the east Indian state of Orissa. The city is famous for its Jagannath temple. The temple was built in the late eleventh century.

Puri is one of the oldest cities in the eastern part of the country. It is situated on the coast of the Bay of Bengal and is a popular beach resort, positioned in a unique place so that both sunset and sunrise can be viewed from the beach.

puri is a spirtual center with a big temple and lot of festivals and its very cheap city transportation is really messy in state of orrisa compared to well organised hyderbad or other cities but cost of living is cheapest in India education institutions are not so good there... Industry is not intresting anyway

Puri is a small town about 60 KM east of Bhubaneswar. It's a district headquarters of the Puri district.

Education:Abt 75% are literate in Puri.It has a very famous Sanskrit college.Puri has few Engineering colleges.There are quite a lot of govt. and Private schools are in Puri.

Transportation:It's a small town and like any other small town,most of the people depend on manual or auto rickshaws.Quite a lot of people also use bicycles or a motor bike.

Industry:Not at all an industrialized city.However,there are some small scale and local industries in the town.Quite a lot of people depend on some kind of handicraft works.

Basic life:Life is peaceful,spiritual,slow and cheap in Puri.It's a good place to be.
