Pushing to the limit and safety?

How much pushing to the limit can I do before my safety is not guarunteed

Your safety is never guaranteed. No man is promised tomorrow.

What is more, you will only know what "the limit" is when you go over it. It is only by getting drunk that we know just how much booze we can take. This may be seen as an emblem of life; you only find out where relative safety stops by pushing against the boundaries.

So it's up to you where you draw the line between fulfilment and caution - but please don't try to experiment to find the limit of your car's roadholding when I am about.
