Q for people with contacts....?

I just got contacts a coupla months ago... When YOU wear them, do you blink a lot? This just started a coupla weeks ago, but when with my contacts, now i blink a lot, and i blink hard... its weird...

People with contacts, does this ever happen to you, too?

you should blink a lot as it keeps the lenses from drying out your eyes. not certain about the blinking hard part. do you mean you hold the blink longer?

in the beginning i did but then i got used to them and now i dont do it so much. its just your bodys way of keeping your eyes from drying out

yes i did!

it became a bad habit of mine for a while and when I did I'm pretty sure it look weird to other people...

if your eye isn't irritated...its just a bad habit

try not focusing on blinking or on your eye...and when you want to...DONT!

I didnt really blink alot more than I usually did when I didn't have contacts.

yes, i blink a lot now that i think about it..if you dont they dry out and it kinda hurts...lol

In order to keep your contacts properly moisterized you do need to blink more...especially when working for an extended period of time in a dry area or working on a computer.

I'm not sure why you're "blinking hard" but it may be that you are still getting used to the lens...maybe you're feeling the lens in your eye...I know for the first couple of weeks that I wore contacts it felt like I had an eyelash or something in my eye.  Stick with it, it'll probably go away soon.
