  1. I think one of them was named Cherry.  I hear about Queen Anne's Cherry around Christmas time.

  2. Although none of Queen Anne's children survived, she had 18 of them (stillborn or died right after death).

Here are the names of children that were actually named.

    Mary  - born June 2, 1685, died 8 February 1687

    Anne Sophia - Born May 12, 1686, died February 2, 1687

    William - Born July 24, 1689, died July 29, 1700

    Mary - Born October 14, 1690, died October 14, 1690

    George - Born April 17, 1692, died April 17, 1692

    Charles - September 15, 1698, died September 15, 1698

I could suggest you to name your daughter Mary (there were two Queen Regnants in England with this name), Matilda (First Queen Regnant of England, although never crowned), Isabella (several Queen Regnants with this name, although not in England), Leonor/Eleonora (name of several Spanish/Castillian Queens), Juana (name of Spanish Queen Regnant), Louise (that was the name of many British Princesses), Alexandra (quite a Queenly name) or Henrietta.

Congratulations with your baby girl! :)

  3. You should ask your mom....she might have some background on that.

  4. QUEEN ANNE'S CHILDREN:

    Mary

    Anne Sophia

    William

    George

    Another Mary

    Charles

She was pregnant 12 other times, but they all were stillborn children.

  5. Here is a list of all her pregnancies and their results.

    Pretty typical British Royalty names.

  6. By 1700, the future Queen Anne had been pregnant at least eighteen times, thirteen times, she miscarried or gave birth to stillborn children. Of the remaining five children, four died before reaching the age of two years. Her only son to survive infancy, William, Duke of Gloucester, died at the age of eleven on 29 July 1700. Here are the children that Queen Anne did actually named:

    Mary 2 June 1685 8 - February 1687

    Anne Sophia 12 May 1686 2 February 1687

William, Duke of Gloucester 24 July 1689 29 July 1700

    Mary 14 October 1690 14 October 1690

    George 17 April 1692 17 April 1692

    Charles 15 September 1698 15 September 1698

    Here are some suggestions:

Queen Adelaide, Queen consort of King William IV

Queen Alexandra, Queen consort of Edward VII

Queen Caroline, Queen consort of George IV

Queen Charlotte, Queen consort of George III

Queen Sophia, Queen consort of George I

  7. Diana Tais , has it right

  8. Queen Anne of Britain had no children. But Diana who was not a queen  would be a wonderful name.
