Question about Anastasia...?

I read alot about the Romanov family and in almost every website about her it says that she got fat when she was a teenager. Is that true? Because all the pictures I've seen of her she looks rather normal, or sometimes thin.

I think you are right she was small and slight build.

ps the family are now considered saints, it was wrong what happened to them, They were victims and apart from being royalty, they were personally no threat to anyone.

She really does look slender, even pictures taken shortly before they were taken prisoner

According to Anastasia's mother, Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna of Russia, she commented on sixteen-year-old Anastasia's short stature in a December 15, 1917 letter, written seven months before the murders. In the letter, it quotes "Anastasia, to her despair, is now very fat, as Maria was, round and fat to the waist, with short legs. I do hope she will grow."

Apparently, you cannot tell how fat the body is of a person if they are all covered up in their big large dresses, espeically in black and white photos from the 18th century. It is possible that Anastasia was becoming heavy compare to her figure from before and that her mother was simply saying that she is gaining weight and hope that she will shed it off as she grows older.
