Question about Danish permits

I'm a woman , a non EU national , under the age of 24 but older than 18 and i'm pregnant with my fiance's baby who is a Danish citizen. Is it possible to get a residence permit after the baby is born to stay in Denmark with my fiance and the baby?

Yes, I believe so. All that's needed is for the father to officially recognize the baby, you know just accept he's the father, to grant her the Danish nationality. They have to allow a mother to stay with her child under EU laws but even more simple basic human rights

For Denmark it is tricky. Actually right now, it has just been revealed that there is a "loop-hole" in the law that makes it easier for non EU nationals under the age of 24 to join their spouses in Denmark.

Have your fiancee keep an eye on the news in Denmark and try to find the best option for you. I believe that because of this new development, there might unfortunately be some additional waiting time in getting your residence permit looked at and processed.

Do get married before you apply for residence, it should make things easier for you.
