When you stop at a family Travel center are most of the pumps marked so you can see where the diesel pump is located, and are they in a end bay that has easy to get in an out of . I will be pulling a large trailer and would like to know so i will not have to drive all over the parking lot trying to find them. I was in one last week and the pump was marked with big letters beside the pump and it said RV and the diesel was located there. You could see it from the road when you pulled into the lot, and it was located so it was easy to get in and out . Thanks

  1. Most of them that I have seen do.

  2. DO NOT use the diesel pumps intended for the big trucks.  They use a larger fuel filler nozzle that will not fit properly in your light truck, and if you try, you will end up spilling fuel all over the ground.  If you can't find a pump that is set up for RVs and automobiles, then go inside and ask the clerk which one you can use safely.

  3. Most major fuel stops have RV pumps that are seperate from Auto or Semi fueling. Flying J has their own RV island. A lot of the Pilots do too. If you find yourself at a fuel stop with none I would recommend that you use the semi fueling islands as they offer the most room for your rig. Jusr remember to use the phone at the fuel island to give the fuel desk your info.. whether credit or cash sometimes they ask for a licence plate #. just remember to pull ahead after fueling and then go into the fuel desk..
