Question about GPA. Can you help?

I'm in the process of filling out applications for college and they need my cumm. GPA. Right now for this year, I have a 4.0 and I am positive I will have a 4.0 when report cards come out in about 8 weeks. Could I add that in with my cumm. GPA? (It would help a lot. It would take me from a 3.1 to a 3.5~3.6) Or should I leave it the way it was at the end of last year?

  1. Do not add in the GPA for classes that you are currently taking.  You need to wait until you have received final grades for them to include them in your cumulative GPA.  Colleges will ask for your final grades anyway.  If you are that concerned, send them your updated transcript (not report card - actually request a transcript from the school counselor or whoever does that in your school) after your grades for this quarter are determined.
