Question about Glastonbury (cost)?

What is the estimated cost of going to Glastonbury?

I mean the whole deal. How much did it cost you for transportation, food, ticket, tent and any other related cost?

Could you give me a break down of the expenses? I would really appreciate the information.

  1. Where are you travelling from?

    www.nationalrail.com  train info

    www.stagecoach.com - national express info

  2. I took about £80  per day..  and covered food, beer and more food..(which was too much) ...although I did need to buy a warm coat and  wellies when I got there as it did tip down. I still had enough  for breakfast on Monday morning at  a little chef although I did stink a bit... haa ha  but  hey it was Glastonbury.

Tents are cheap enough dont buy an expensive one though,  If this weekend is anything to go buy it will get ruined.

As for  transportation I  really dont know but Im sure you can work that out.

  3. For me it's costing about £260 overall:

    £160 - ticket

£50 - transport (there and back [live in Leeds]; £40 train there, £10 to a mate who's driving back)

£50 - on food and booze to take with me (couple of bottles of spirits and a loada canned stuff, cheese, bread etc)

I'm borrowing a tent off a mate, and have everything else I'd need from previous years' festivals/camping/travelling/life in general (torch, rucksack, camping stove etc etc). On top of this I might take 10-20 quid to spend there, but that's not a necessity.
