Question about Glock saeties?

I have a Glock Magazine that has all there 2006 products in it and it says that all Glocks have 3 safeties.What are they,the only one that I can think of is the trigger safety.

  1. It's the trigger safety, the firing pin safety and the drop safety.

    The firing pin and drop safety are internal.

They're all internal safeties.  In other words, a Glock won't discharge just because it is dropped.  The trigger must be depressed before it will fire.  This is why Glocks must be carried in a holster that covers the trigger, never thrown loaded into a desk drawer or purse full of clutter unless they are secured in a holster that covers the trigger.  How hard is that?  Just keep your finger outta the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.

    Consider that even revolvers have been known to discharge when accidentally dropped.  The same for the 1911 even with its dubious grip safety.  Glocks have been dropped out of helicopters and have not discharged until they are picked up and fired.  In my book that make the Glock the safest handgun currently available.  One of many reasons I'm a Glock man.
