Question about Rising signs...?

Question

Our Rising signs effects how others see us and the first impressions we give off...like the 'mask' we wear when first meeting people, right??

But...when people really get to know us on a deeper level (like in friendships/family/love relationships) are we acting more like our Sun sign than our Rising sign?

Sun, Rising, and Moon signs is like a book.

1. Your Sun sign is the Title of that book.

2. Your Rising sign is the Cover on that book.

3. Your Moon sign is the Pages in that book, and in that book it is written how your Sun is influenced by your Moon (or sometimes vice versa).

Over all it's telling you what makes your Sun sign (or in this case book) different from others with the same Sun sign.

Cover (appearance) of my book: Scorpio

Pages in my book: Pisces, mostly talking about what kind of Scorpio I am mixed with Pisces influence.

It all depends. The Rising, Moon, and Sun all play a part in our personality along with other factors and planets and houses.. For instance, My sun is scorpio I can get really intense and dark sometimes but my Libra Rising can balance it out...my moon in Taurus makes me stubborn, my sun makes it more, but my Libra balances it out. And to answer your question, yes Rising is how the world perceives us.

Not really, as you know, your rising sign is how people see you, it's your exterior to put it another way. When someone gets to know you, they still see you as you are, they way you act and present yourself. Your sun represents your ego, which is something different than the way that other people see you. Your ego is what drives you. It's where your pride lies. For example If you have ever watched "Judge Judy" She has a Libra Sun. Libra is about justice what's right, and that's what she does, she fights for justice. That's where her 'pride' is. I actually don't know her rising sign though. But she comes across as pretty strong, so I'm willing to bet it might be Aries and NOT something like Pisces or Cancer. Hope I gave you a better feel for what the difference is.

my sun and my moon are the same which is virgo and my ascendent is capricorn so it's hard to say

I think the Rising is the "First Impression"

I think the Sun where general friends can see us, people we know like "acquaintances",  more like the "Second Impression"

I think the Moon is our "Third Impression". How our closest friends and family see us. Our unconscious behaviors etc. Our depth,intensity
