Is it possible to get into law enforcement in the Coast Guard??

The Coast Guard IS a military branch that has a law enforcement mission.

14 USC 89a is the source of our law enforcement authority.  That is why we are the only military branch not in the DoD.

Yes I believe it is. they have their own law enforcement program too.

The Coast Guard is waterway and coastal law enforcement.  It would look great on any resume for law enforcement afterwards

I am confused about your question.  The Coast Guard IS law enforcement.  Their mission is to enforce Maritime Law in U.S. waterwarys.
