Question about Your due date....?

I was curious about how many people actually DELIVER their baby on the exact due date, and is it usually sooner, or later than that

My very first baby was born right on time 4/10/05.

#2 son was 8 days late & I was induced he arrived 2/28/07.

#3 son was 2 days short of his due date he arrived 3/27/08.

So, as you can see I was all over the spectrum of time! My first was on time not late like most people say when your prego with your first. My second had to be forced out and didn't come early like they always say.

My last little guy almost made it to his due date not early either like they like to tell you will happen. Everybody is different.

It is rare to deliver on your exact due date. I am due today, And still no sign of my little boy arriving anytime soon. The EDD (Estimated due date) is exactly that- ESTIMATED, and can be off about 2 weeks either way.

expect your child to arrive  within two weeks of your  "due" date... that could be 2 weeks prior, or two weeks past your due date. Its rare that a baby is born on the exact date. Congrats and Good Luck!

My mom never delivered on her due date, and I'm one of 3 kids. A lot of people deliver late with their first babies. And then after that if you have any more kids, it's usually before the due date. I guess it all depends though. I'm due in 8 days and I have no idea when it's going to happen.
