Question about a Sony Trinitron tv?

I have a 32 inch sony trinitron tv. the problem is that wen its on video mode like wen im watchin a dvd, i change it to VIDEO 1 but the icon saying that its VIDEO 1 on the top left corner stays there. it really annoys me, is there anyway i can take it off?

  1. There should be a button like "info" on top right side (in most cases) of remote to turn this or channel display on/off.


  2. If you cycle the Display button, as  Realist 2006 suggested, it will show "Display Off" on the screen.  Leave it at that point and it should disappear from the screen.

  3. Look for button marked display on your remote and try that !!!
