Question about binder labels?

I'm trying to label my binders for school and the binders I bought are pink with the pockets that you can slide labels into. I want to print off labels on something clear so it looks nice and there isn't a big ugly white square around it. I don't want to spend too much money, if any at all. I could just cut out the letters from regular paper but that would take forever. Any suggestions?
