A breeding cattery is where you breed cats, in most cases if you ever want to get a pedigree cat then you would but it from a cattery. E.g my mum has bought abyssinians from biru cattery, biru is the prefix that they were bred under, if you want to breed cats then you have to register, sending a form with the details that you want your cattery to have (name, breed of cat, etc) before you start breeding you have to have a queen (female) or a stud (male) you also have to have a partner of your own or from a another cattery that you can breed them with. If you do breed its good to have a kitten room so when the kittens are born you can keep them in that room where they can be safely raised by their mother and breeder.
