Question about firefox?

I am thinking about switching from the horrible IE 7 to firefox. However, I am having trouble getting a readable font. As far as I can tell, IE font appears to be darker. When i use firefox, it appears washed out, faded and pixellated. how can i get the font appearance to be similar?

On Firefox, if you go to tools, options, then content near the middle it will say default font. Choose want font you want and what size you want. and right under advanced options it will say colors. click on that and choose a different color if you wnat.

u can get a diff font from firefox  go to tools  and to options and to default fonts pick wat u want than save
