I have a family member that is in the hospital. I am just wondering. She is in a room with two beds, and she has another patient in the room with her. Why were hospitals made to have two beds per room except for in critical care units? It gives patients less privacy. If I was admitted to the hospital: I would want to be by myself; so I could have more privacy with an injury or illness. I wouldn't want to be left in a room with a stranger and not know who that person is. Bit the you have the curtain separating the beds.
