Question about lifeguarding?

i'm a decent swimmer, i went for the interview and everything, and they said i got in i just need to do the swimming classes, and the only thing i'm worried about is getting the 10lbs. brick. is it hard? between what ft. do they do it?

  1. In the deep end of the pool. But It's really nothing to worry about. Not hard at all. I was worried about too before I tryed it. You'll do just fine.


  2. its in the 12 ft part of the pool..  when you get to the bottom of the pool, just wrap one arm around it and pull with the other arm...   dont forget to push off the bottom and kick! ;)   (i think that breaststroke kick is one of the most powerful so try that one when coming up)

    honestly though dont worry about it you'll do fine  :)

  3. just be prepared to kick your feet hard when you have to surface with the brick.  keep kicking and you will do fine.
