Question about playing the guitar?

Question

1) do i have to really play the electric guitar using a pick or i can play with my fingers like always do?

2) should i always leave the whammy bar screwed in the guitar,or i have to remove it after i use?(cuz i am afraid if the guitar ever fell and putting preassure on the whammybar cuzing the damage to the bridge and strings of the guitar.)

1) Feel however you feel comfortable. Its you playing the guitar, not anyone else.

2) LEAVE IT ON. Its supposed to be on. No reason to remove it.
