I don't mean to sound really stupid, but how do simmers/polo players wear their speedos so low and not have their butts showing?

The high school aquatics rules require that suits completely cover the buttocks.  So, you asked "how"?  It's simple, you don't pull them down too low.

It's inappropriate to have your butt sticking out, and usually the skinnier it is the easier it is to have it low, but not have your butt sticking out.
