My husband got a Wii 2 christmas' ago but his main controller was stolen.. well now he can't play the wii with the second controller that he has? Does anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it? Do we need to take the wii in, I don't know that he kept the insurance for it because well this was before we were married and well.... he's a guy. Would it just be a problem with the controller? cuz it was working just fine before but as soon as he had to use it after his main one was stolen it won't work?

  1. well the main control has nothing to do with it. have you already taken the battery out and started using the charger, cuz if not that's all you need to do. oh yeah, and you know you can just go and buy another controler, right?

  2. The controllers are universal, you just have to synchronize them with the console. The "main" controller comes pre-synchronized.

If you don't do it right it can be pretty tricky. There are instructions as to how to do this in the console's instruction manual.

  3. on the wii theres this litle openining thing next to the cd put in and ull see a sync button and on the wii remote take the battery cover out ull see the sync aswell

first press sync on the wii then hurry and press sync on the wii remote

  4. buy a new controller(because if you don't buy a new controller you will not be able to play with the wii(which is more expensive))

  5. Ok, I know exactly what your problem is, this is what you need to do:

    1. Firstly get that wii remote that you said doesn't work and take the cover off the back where the batteries are.

    2. Then go to the Wii (has to be turned on-in wii menu) and open up the flap on the front, there should be a red button that says sync on it.

    3. The you have to press the red button on the back off the wii remote(near where the batteries go in)

4.And then press the red sync button on the wii,  the wii remote should flash and then it should work.

Otherwise the batteries arn't working and you need to replace them, or the Wii-remote is busted.

  6. get another controll

or with the other control press the blue home button and go 2 reconnect

i had the same problem before when i let my friend use a control

  7. All you do is go to where the batteries are in the Wii controller, there should be a red button. On the Wii console, there should be this flap thing on the front. Open that and press both red buttons at the same time. It should work :)

  8. First, make sure teh controller is synced up (open up the front flap on the Wii & open up the battery cover on the wiimote. Hit both red buttons at the same time.). If that doesn't work, call Nintendo.
