  1. i have left wine opened and in the fridge- both white and red for about a week- after about the 4-5th day its not so great anymore- then it gets used for cooking- but alwasy smell it- if it smells kinda iffy or pungent dump it or use it for cooking but always refrigerate.

  2. lolol  your definitely not an alcoholic

  3. Rule if thumb is 24 hours 48 tops and yes refrigerate after opening red or white when drinking let red sit out for 30 minutes

  4. If you're drinking it, I'd drink it up within a week of opening the bottle. Keep red refrigerated, white keep at room temperature.

If you're just using it for cooking, it's okay for a couple more weeks.

  5. most wines should be drank within a few days.  The problem is when the air gets to them they will sour.  Red wine though is best after it has some time with the air.  This is when a decanter is used.  But if you are going to drink a wine over a few days I recommend that you purchase a vacuum that can actually recreate the air tight seal on the bottle.
