Question for 90210 1990's watchers...?

If you watched the new series last night...

Did anyone catch the part when the teacher turns off the student news announced by Hannah Zuckerman-Vazquez and says "why does that girl look 30?" I thought that was funny and a nice little shout out to Gabrielle Carteris.

Also who do you think Kelly's baby daddy is? Brandon...Dylan..or mystery guy?

oh and I think Sammie's Dad (Kelly's son) is Brandon...because she was on the phone in her bedroom and said "he's been asking about you" and then she was making a big deal with Brenda about how she hasn't seen him since he was a baby and mentioned Brandon was in Belize when he called.....

and Brenda is supposed to be the Drama teacher at WBH...that's why she told Kelly, they'll have plenty of time to catch up....

I caught that and it was great! I love the references to the orginial yet the characters on the new are so their own characters (except Kelly and Brenda of course)

I really think Dylan is going to be Sammy's dad. Brandon will still be pining for Kelly after all these years, and here she is with Dylans son.

I'm excited about this show, as I was a big fan of the original and now that things have been established, I want it to go its own direction, being 2008.

yes i was like h**l na her Daughter is in that school i thought they left cali.  anyhow it was funny how they said how she look older as we all know gabrielle was allot older than everyone on the set lol.  can't wait to see more

Dylan is the baby's daddy.  He may even make an appearance later on in the season (so the gossip blogs have said).  The show was good, but there is nothing like the original.  I cant wait for Brenda to return!!!

I only watched the first hour last night (taped the second half to watch later today)....well, I agree it is jesse's and andrea's daughter (duh, the last names ain't enough to give it away, and of course, like mom like daughter (both in journalism), and the 'silver' had me wondering until kelly said it was lil sis (took me til 11 last night to remember her first name is erin-- and why ask sis how's mom, you live there, go visit?!), and the baby daddy mystery had me going.....who could it be, I first thought maybe matt, maybe dylan....hopefully time will tell...

and since I didn't watch the second half, and at the end of the first part, the principal found out he has a missing son, do we have to worry about the transplanted daughter hooking up with her brother??

high school and 1990-90210 was nothing like that....a ******** and drugs in the first twenty minutes-- h**l, i fear fro my 15 y/o daughter if that's what school is now!!

I watched a lot of repeats of 90210, but they left me hanging with the end of season 7 or season 8. Kelly was talking to Brandon because she might be pregnant..I loved the old series of 90210.I haven't watched the new one yet but I'll probably check it out. It is awesome that some of the old cast mates are coming back.Who wants to bet Shannon aka Brenda will throw

a fit and leave the show. I heard Tori Spelling was suppose to be on,but she heard what the other cast mates were making and decided not to do the show.

Ohhh good question! I have no clue. It was good last night - took me a minute to follow along because it was soooo long that I watched 90210. Is Shannon going to be a regular on the show? I thought it was clever they brought back some old cast mates.
