Why do you pay a tv license? we used to in Australia but that was done away with back in the 60's i think.

  1. Interesting...so you pay for Channel one and Channel 2, and the rest are commercials....

    Sounds like Cable or Satellite where they force you to pay for the Community Channel(s) by forcing it to be a part of their system....

    And those people are just STONERS or Democrats with nothing to do but get old and die....kinda like your Pensioners, except they never PAID into the system....

    So....your system actually sounds better than USA's....

    SO....Be d**n Proud your system works while ours breaks down at the hand of Democrats, Idiot Republicans, and Whiny Crybaby Specialty Groups....

    Hey at least TV won't go away....They'll let you pay for it....

  4. We have to pay a tv license for channel one and channel 2...the rest of the channels are paid via adverts...it's a sh*t system really...i dont even watch channel 2.
