Question for PS2 online??

I have Star wars Battlefront 2, ive been playing the game for quite a while and i really like it. For some reason, i have never played online with my ps2 and face other people. I would like to do this but i have no idea how to do this.

What do i need to do/buy/have in order for me to play my ps2 games online. One more thing, is playing online for playstation or do you have to pay like you had to do for the xbox? Thx to anyone who answers!

Get an ethernet cable and plug your ps2 into your internet connection. Then start playing.

If you have a slim ps2 then just hook up the ethernet cable and follow the instructions when you click play online if you have a fat ps2 then you need a network adapter and sony does not charge to play online like xbox.
