My pool seems like it has a small hole in the rim of it. Is there something that i can buy to help me better see where the hole is? Because i cannot find the hole but air keeps leaking out. I know there is a such thing like dye for air conditioners in cars where you can see the dye coming from the area where the hole is, but this will be neat if they have this for pools. Also can dry acid be the cause of my pool deflating? This happened right after i added dry acid. I did thoroughly dilute this with water first.

  1. Years ago I bought one of those pools. I got it used, from a friend. It had an air leak that was never found. I bought some of those foam "noodle" things and stuffed them under the rim overnights to keep it from deflating enough for the water to leak out. Then, every morning, I go out and air it back up again. That $20 pool lasted me for 3 summers--air leak and all.

I don't know what would cause your air leak, nor how to fix it. But, if the leak is slow enough, it can be tolerated.

  2. Inflatible Ring pools can develop leaks fairly easily. The best way to detect the leak is to fill a spray bottle with water and dish soap and spray the the top ring, where ever air is leak will develop bubbles.
