Question:

Question for girls only...?

Alright, I've only had my period about eight times so far, and the moodswings are driving me up the wall. I can't go two minutes without getting pissed at someone for something that, at any other time, I wouldn't have even noticed. This morning, I got really, really depressed over nothing and then got really happy a half hour later.

For girls who suffer from moodswings as well, how do you handle it without losing friends by biting their heads off about trivial things? Is there any way to control them, or should I just give anyone a fair warning?

  1. o im like that too!!

i tell my friends if they dont already know

    but most people can tell

just be sure to eat healthy

    get loads of sleep

    and take some ibprophen

  2. Just try to chill out and wait until your happy again.

I usually stay in my room for a while, or just go on the computer.

But usually my mood swings are happy, or i cry for no reason.

  3. I would warn a few close friends if you think you may get irritable or cross for no reason. If you feel yourself becoming angry try taking a deep breath before you 'snap' or shout.

Try avoiding sugary foods and caffeine around your period, and make sure you get lots of sleep.

If you get really bad mood swings, you might want to consider speaking to your doctor about them.

  4. I don't get mood swings at all but I know that people who do should stay away from caffeine because it makes stuff worse.

  5. When I get snappy at my friends or anyone. I go inside my room and just relax a little bit and maybe try taking a nap. It usually helps me. PMS sucks, sorry. :(

  6. Warn your friends and if they still hate you or if you still hate yourself get a doctor to prescribe you the pill.

  7. lol This is why I have more male friends than females friends. Guys tend to leave you alone when you mention anything about you being on your period. If I'm very cranky and they say get over it or something of the sort I tell them, in graphic details to shut them up, what's going on. It tends to push them away and not want to hear. They baby you as if you're broken so it's nice. Females are tough. They don't really care about anyone but themselves so I'm not sure.

You may want to take some meds. I take Midol and Tylenol, I alternate between months because Midol may not work if you use it back to back.

  8. Well give your CLOSE friends a fair warning, they'll understand, but if you take a Midol or Pamprin those are supposed to help with that stuff.....

Everyone else can just feel your wrath =P it happens to everyone =D

  9. tbh i just warn people :)

sometimes its good to bite someones head off it gets it out of your system :D
