Question for guys (particularly the unreligious)?

I'm tired of being an ignorant female. I'm not calling females ignorant, but I am sick of being uninteresting and expecting guys to carry the weight of conversations. I'm also sick of only feeling capable of interacting with other boring females. I want to become someone intelligent and interesting to be around. How can I get closer to being someone you intelligent guys would want to associate with? The more detailed and blunt the answer, the better. Thanks.

Care less about what guys think it comes across as needy. Find things that interest and make you happy. When you are happy and feel whole then start looking for a guy. You should try new hobbies and maybe go to school.

first off you act ignorant because you are ignorant...   Guys are ugly these days.   The interact with you, buy you a few drinks and expect to go right in the sack...Hang with intelegent people and you will find some guys who  can carry on a conversation and not to want to just get you in the sack...  I love to talk to intelegent girls...  there is so much to talk about right now..  i.e.  the Olympics and Politics...  geeeeeez  thats a whole months worth of talking....   Just remember ignorant is because the want to be...  stupid the same way..  I wish you love and lucki..  in life....  Grant M in Pennsylvania

Get and education perhaps and don't act like a bimbo. I don't associate with people I don't find interesting regardless of their s*x or sexual orientation. It doesn't make any sense

Learn how to play chess well. Get some books or download some instructions on line, then practice on line with other players on line till you get really good. The last step is to join a chess club. Your IQ will improve and you will meet some intelligent guys, Guaranteed! ~ : )

Conversation isn't necessarily always about intelligence, at least not in a book sense. Most guys could care less if you could go on for hours about politics, history, philosophy, mythology, ect, ect. As a matter of fact, I'd say a conversation about any of those things would likely bore me. Instead I want a conversation with a girl that is real. It doesn't really matter what the conversation is about as long as she isn't falsely boasting the importance of the subject matter. For example, I love to here about a girl's life.. and what's been happening, and then for them to ask how I would handle a certain situation. I have a suggestion to make for you when talking to guys. You should do this exercise unknowingly to a guy. Try the me then you approach to a conversation. Tell a guy something that happened to you recently.. and then ask then a question regarding what happened to you to keep their attention. For example if you were telling a guy you went to the ice cream parlor to get an vanilla ice cream afterwards, ask the guy what his favorite ice cream is, if he's ever been to that ice cream parlor, if he thinks 3 bucks is too much to spend on ice cream, ect ect. This is a very propelling way to hold a conversation and most guys will appreciate it.

You do not sound like a typical ignorant female. You do not sound ignorant.

You can be really clever, but not be able to express yourself, and everyone would think you were ignorant. And, you are born with an ability to express yourself. And judging it purely from that paragraph, as that is all I know about you, I would say you can express yourself very well.

Maybe its because this sight is basically anonymous? But, then, you need to learn how to have enough confidence to talk about what you want with enough interest to make it sound interesting. And, if they are truly an interesting person, the conversation will go one of two ways.

1, They say, "Why are we talking about this? Blah blah" This would show his self-awareness is good.

2, They say, "Oh yes, But...." This would show he is an educated man. and if he goes on to say something you find interesting, well thats dandy.
