1. x/2 - 2/3 < x + 4/3

2. [3x - 5] > 7

3. 2x^2 + 7x <= 15

1) multiply everything by 6, simplify, remember if you are dividing or multiplying by a negative, switch the signs

2) solve two equations:

3x-5 &gt;7

and

-3x+5&gt;7

3) use the quadratic equation to solve, plug in test points on either side of the answers to determine the direction of the inequality signs
